Notifications on defects
All merchandise are covered by The Danish Sale of Goods, giving the customer 24 months of warranty. This ables the customer to complain about defects and deficiencies that arise within 24 months of the purchase. If so the customer will have a replacement, a refusal or a discount, depending on the specific situation. However, this determines that the complain is justified and that the deficiency is not caused by a misuse of the product or other injurious behaviour. The complain must be given within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. Preferable within few days, maximum within two weeks. One must under no circumstances take a product into use until the claim is finalised. We repair or replace and send a replacement when the defective/faulty product is received. Materdesign.com covers transport costs for warranty/failure of delivery by shipping via carrier. Non-visible defects must be reported to materdesign.com as quickly as possible and within 14 days of receival. It is therefore important during this period to check the goods. Remember that the product must always be returned in original packaging, and get a receipt for shipment, so we can reimburse your shipping costs. We will refund reasonable freight costs, as you may have in connection with returning the item when the claim is justified.

Materdesign.com accepts the following credit cards: Dankort, VISA/Dankort, EURO/MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and VISA/Electron.The amount will not be drawn from your card before the items leaves our stock. All prices are listed in EUR including Danish tax/VAT (25 %).

Customs and sales tax/VAT
If your order is placed from an EU country you will have to pay Danish sales tax/VAT but no customs fee. This is according to customs policies regarding sales within the EU. If, however, your order is placed from Norway or Switzerland you will not be charged with Danish sales tax/VAT though you may pay additional tax and duties in the country of destination. Materdesign.com is not responsible for these or for any fees charged by customs. The carrier will contact you in case of any extra charges or customs clearance. This might delay the delivery. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to pay for these extra charges.
